I have joined the Laboratory for Engineering and Man/Machine Systems at Brown University in 2008 and started to pursue a Ph.D. degree in School of Engineering, under the supervision of Prof. Benjamin B. Kimia. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Sabanci University in 2008 and my Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University in 2012, during the course of my graduate studies.
Before my graduate school applications, I have worked first as an intern, then as a part-time design engineer at the R&D firm Vestek in Istanbul/Turkey, focusing on hardware implementation of visual enchancement algorithms for LCD televisions.
My primary research interests are multiview computer vision, video tracking, medical imaging and differential geometry in the context of multiview calibration/reconstruction. I do maintain a broader interest in other computer vision topics including object detection/recognition, image denoising, motion estimation etc.
