Biography/Interests
Currently, I am doing project with Pro. Kimia. As our group's research based on contour based segmentation, my project focus on Contour Extraction and Contour Evaluation.
Our algorithm of contour extraction is mainly developed by Amir, who used to be a PHD student here. My work is to improve the algorithm and complete the last part for solving Junctions in contour map.
I am also developing a new method for contours evaluation. Because former evaluations for contours are still based on edges, it's shortcomings for evaluating contours are obvious. It is necessary to develop a new algorithm to perform contour evaluation based on contours.
